Hollandia Dairy | Facility-Wide Containment System

FOOD & BEVERAGE | CASE STUDY

Hollandia Dairy

Hollandia Dairy is a family-owned and operated dairy farm that has been producing, processing, and distributing award-winning farm fresh milk and nutritional dairy products to the families of Southern California since 1950. As a food handling facility, they are subject to California's strict environmental regulations and tight food safety guidelines.

THE CHALLENGE

Hollandia Dairy maintains and stores their delivery vehicles on-site, creating regular opportunities for spills — fuel, oil, coolant, and more. They needed a first line of defense for sediment and debris control, a containment solution for their loading area to tackle milk runoff, and a faster spill response system that complied with California's strict environmental and food safety regulations.

OUR SOLUTION

After working closely with CEO Patrick Schallberger and several department heads, Spill Bully implemented multiple facility-wide solutions to improve safety and reduce risk. They replaced rigid containers with flexible drum packs, saving on storage and logistics. Spill Bully also installed stormwater protection products and food prevention barriers across the facility.
