FROM A GARAGE IN
OCEANSIDE TO
NORTH AMERICA.

Carlos and Brian first met playing baseball together in high school and continued as teammates at Palomar College. Their paths later crossed as competitors — Carlos at San Francisco State, Brian at UC San Diego. Years later, that same competitive spirit became the foundation of Spill Bully.

After spending years in the environmental and hazardous waste industry, Carlos saw something that bothered him: as larger companies absorbed smaller ones, innovation slowed. Customer relationships became less personal. The focus shifted from solving problems to moving catalog inventory.

In February 2017, he decided to build something different. Spill Bully started in his garage with a simple mission — develop innovative spill response solutions by listening to customers first.

The Journey

2017
Started in the Garage
Every spill kit built by hand in Oceanside. First customers, first partnerships, and first proof the idea worked.
2017
First Facility
After six months outgrowing the garage, Spill Bully moved into a 500 sq ft facility. Demand kept growing.
2019
Cal Trans Partnership
Designed a custom spill response system for California's DOT across 11 hazmat districts. Earned sole-source designation.
Today
4,000 Sq Rf HQ. Oceanside Ca.
Spill Bully products are used across North America by government agencies, defense contractors, food & beverage facilities, and marine operations.

DON'T JUST
